Franz Wiget the only 18-point Chef in Central Switzerland

Once again, Franz Wiget from Adelboden in Steinen, Canton of Schwyz,

made it and became the only star chef in central Switzerland to cook 18 Gault Millau points.

The top address for Gault Millau in Nidwalden is the Belvédère in Hergiswil, where Fabian Inderbitzin is swinging the wooden spoons. 17 points go also to the witcher Stefan Wiesner in the Rössli in Escholzmatt and Patrick Mahler of the Focus in the Park Hotel Vitznau as well as to Markus Gass of the Adler in Hurden.

Canton Lucerne performs well

In the Canton of Lucerne, there are six chefs who have been awarded 16 points: Hans-Peter Suter from the Kreuz in Emmen, Raphael Tuor from the Reussbad in Lucerne, Beat Stofer from the La Pistache of the Hotel Balm in Meggen, Beat Amrein from Amrein’s in Sursee, Jeroen Achtien vom Sens at Vitznauerhof in Vitznau and Hugues Blanchard from Olivo at Grand Casino Lucerne.

The latter is next to Oliver Häfliger of the Sonne in Ebersecken with 14 points and Marcel Thoma from the Sonne Seehotel in Eich with 13 points promoted and titled as a newcomer

16 points for Adler in Ried-Muotathal

The best grade among the test eaters in the Canton of Uri is The Japanese Restaurant by The Chedi in Andermatt. Chef Dietmar Sawyere received 16 points. René Gisler from Schlossrestaurant A Pro in Seedorf got 14 points as a starter.
In addition to the 18- and 17-point chefs, there are also two chefs in the Canton of Schwyz who had been awarded 16 points: Adrian Bührer vom Pur at Seedamm Plaza in Pfäffikon and Dani Jann-Annen from Adler in Ried-Muotathal.

In the Canton of Zug, there is a 16-point boss: Peter Doswald vom Falken in Neuheim. One of the climbers Oliver Rossdeutsch from the Aklin in Zug with 14 points. Sebastian Rabe von der Wart in Hünenberg scored 15 points in the guest guide.
