I would like to make it clear from the beginning, I am not an expert in World Politics; I am expressing my personal views and observations of the present world situation.  The Human race refuses to learn from history’s chapters, causing destruction, misery, and deaths, all for reasons of egoism, greed, autocracy, dictatorship, or in the name of religion! Go figure!!

Every one of the instigators is being buried in a hole 8x4x6, no matter what, what exactly is it all for??

Summary: War in Ukraine – Russia and USA Involvement

The war in Ukraine began in February 2022, when Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, escalating a conflict that began with its annexation of Crimea in 2014. At that point, then-President Obama didn’t react after the Russians crossed the red line, invading Crimea. My opinion is that we are in the present dilemma because of the Obama administration’s lack of response to that invasion. When was the last time any country or army tried to invade Russia? It was the Nazis during the Second World War.

However, in defense of the Russians, the NATO-Russia Founding Act was signed on May 27, 1997. The act established a formal mechanism for consultation and cooperation between NATO and Russia, but it did not prevent NATO from expanding eastward.

The founding Act aimed to create a new relationship between NATO and Russia, recognizing that they were no longer adversaries. It established the NATO-Russia Permanent Joint Council for consultation and cooperation on security matters. While the Act was seen by some as a way to address Russia’s concerns about NATO expansion, it did not explicitly prohibit it, according to the National Security Archive.

Putin’s reason for invading Ukraine is due to his concern about the expansion of NATO towards the east.

Russia’s stated goals included the “demilitarization and denazification” of Ukraine, though the invasion was widely condemned as an unjustified act of aggression aimed at reasserting Russian influence over a former Soviet republic.

Ukraine, under President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, mounted a strong defense, bolstered by widespread domestic resistance and international support.
