There are 500 varieties

of bananas that grow on bushes that can reach 30 feet in height in one year. (THERE ARE NO BANANA TREES!) In the US alone, 96 percent of all households purchase bananas at least once a month, with an average American eating 28 pounds of bananas each year!

We don’t know the actual per capita consumption, but they make and sell BANANA BEER in Eastern Africa

In the brewing year 2018/2019, the Swiss drank around 55 liters of beer per capita, which was hardly any different from the previous year. However, according to the Swiss Brewery Association (SBV), barley juice from local areas is finding more and more fans.
Domestic output rose by 2.3 percent to 3,686,184 hectoliters, which corresponds to a market share of 77.8 percent (previous year: 76.7 percent). In contrast, beer imports declined by 3.5 percent.
